When we birth our children, we have this overwhelming sense of being called to be super mom. To never skip a beat. Despite putting our bodies through the most traumatic event (albeit beautiful but still traumatic) ever. Postpartum Depression is something we often feel shame, embarrassment, inadequacy, and helplessness. Because of that we try to hide our postpartum anxieties and depression. We try to hide our struggles.
